INGREDIENTS:

  1. Romano beans pods  (flat bean) - 2 to 3 cup
  2. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Spilt black gram - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Curry leaf - 5 count
  5. Dry chili - 1
  6. Oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Remove the seeds from then beans.
  2. Boil the beans for 20 to 25 minutes or until its cooked by adding salt. Remove the liquid and keep it aside NOTE: if you cook with pressure cooker cook for a minute.
  3. In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds, split black gram, curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering add the cooked beans and sauté for 1 or 2 minutes and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Your can cook peanuts sundal this way as well.
