INGREDIENTS:
- Aval (flattened rice) - 2 cup
- Powered Jaggery - 1 cu
- Milk 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Ghee - 1/4 cup
- Shredded coconut - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder - little
- Almond - 10 count
- Cashew nut - 10 count
- Raisin - 10 count
PREPARATION:
- Roast the Aval (flattened rice) in little ghee with out changing color. Cool this down to room temperature and grind to powder.
- Roast the shredded coconut in a pan until the moisture is gone and keep it aside.
- In blender add powdered aval (flattened rice), roasted coconut and grid them. Now add jaggery and grind for a minute,
- Roast the raisins, almonds, cashew nuts in ghee once the raision become plump add the ground aval mixture and mix. Remove from heat and cool down.
- Now make laddu (ball).
NOTES:
- if aval mixture is dry you can add ghee, milk as needed to make laddu (ball)
