INGREDIENTS:

  1. Soaked and cooked chick pea - 1 cup
  2. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Spit black gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Spilt bengal gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Dry chili - 3
  6. Green chili - 3
  7. Fresh shredded coconut - 1 cup
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Shredded ginger - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Curry leaf - 8
  11. Crushed Garlic - 1 cloves
  12. Oil - as needed
  13. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat a oil in a pan. add mustard seed, black gram, bengal gram. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering add crushed garlic, curry leaves, green chili, dry chili once the garlic turns brown. add ginger and sauté.
  2. Now add the cooked chickpea, turmeric powder and sauté for 3 minutes. NOTE: cooked chickpea should not have any water.
  3. Now add coconut and mix well then serve.
