INGREDIENTS:

  1. Shrimp Or Prawns - 100 grams
  2. Shallot (sambar onion) - 9 count
  3. Green chili - 5
  4. Mutton masala powder - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Fresh shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
  6. Fennel seed - 3/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  8. Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed.
  9. Oil - to fry

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind all the ingredients except oil into thick paste by adding little water if needed.
  2. Now make balls out of shrimp paste and flatten it like we do for vadai.
  3. In a dosai skillet heat good amount of oil to fry. Now fry the shrimp vadai on both side until they are cooked to golden brown.

NOTES:
