INGREDIENTS:
- Shrimp - 500 grams
- Shallot or small onion - 100 grams
- Oil - 3 table spoon
- Curry leaves (optional) - 5
- Shredded Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Garlic - 10 cloves
- Hot dry chili - 10 or 15
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Grind coconut, cumin seed, garlic, hot dry chili into find paste. Cut shallot into small pieces
- Heat oil in pan add curry leaves, shallot and cook until shallot turns golden brown.
- Now add the ground paste, shrimp, 1 cup water and salt to taste.
- Simmer and cook until all the water evaporate and oil separates.
