INGREDIENTS:

  1. Finely Grated Paneer - 50 grams
  2. Boiled and mashed Potato - 2
  3. Corn flour - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  4. Finely chopped Onion - 2
  5. Finely chopped Tomato - 3
  6. Cashews - 20
  7. Cumin Seeds - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Red chili powder - 2 tablespoon (tsp.)
  9. Garam masala powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Curd or yogurt - 1/2 cup
  11. Coriander leaves - little
  12. Oil - as needed.
  13. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add potatoes, panner, corn flour, 1 tablespoon (tsp.) of red chili powder salt, little water and mix well top make a batter. Heat oil in pan. Make small balls with the batter and deep fry them till it turns golden brown. NOTE: don't add too much water as it will observe oil during deep frying.

  5. Grind onions and tomatoes into fine thick paste.
  6. Powder cashew and cumin seeds
  7. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add the paste (onion and tomato) and sauté until cooked and oil separates.
  8. Now add curd, cashew powder, cumin powder, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well.
  9. Add little water and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
  10. Add the fried Kofta balls into the gravy and garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Serve hot with chapatti or Naan or Paratha.
