Tasty rava kesari with roasted nuts in ghee.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Rava - 3/4 cup
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Ghee - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  4. Cashew nut - 10 count
  5. Raisin - 10 count
  6. Cardamom - 10 count
  7. Saffron or color powder - a pinch

PREPARATION:

  1. Roast cardamom in ghee. Now grind it along with sugar to powder.
  2. Roast rava in ghee in a pan and keep it aside.
  3. In a pan heat water as needed and bring to boil. Now add color powder or saffron, 1/4 cardamom powder and pinch of salt.
  4. Now add roasted rava little by little and stir well. NOTE: make sure no lump formed. Once rava is cooked well.
  5. Now add sugar and mix well.
  6. In a different pan roast cashew, raisins. Now add this to kesari. Mix well and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Preparation time: 5 min, Cooking time: 25 minutes
