INGREDIENTS:
- Oats - 1 1/2 cup
- Mung dal (Pasi paruppu) - 1 cup
- Black pepper - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Onion - 1
- Curry leaves - 5
- Coriander leaves - 10
- Salt - to taste
- Hot green chili - 1
PREPARATION:
- Dry fry oats and dry grind it to a fine powder. Dry fry mung dal, black pepper and dry grind to fine powder.
- Cut onion and green chili to a fine pieces.
- Add water to powdered ingredient to a batter consistency little loose than for dosai.
- Add onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chili, salt to the batter and mix well. Keep this mixture for 1 aside before you make the dosai.
- Heat the flat iron skillet or non-stick tawa pan with coat of oil.
- Pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thick round.
- Once this side is cooked, flip over and cook until the dosai is cooked on the other side. Remove and serve
