INGREDIENTS:

  1. Oats - 1 1/2 cup
  2. Mung dal (Pasi paruppu) - 1 cup
  3. Black pepper - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
  4. Onion - 1
  5. Curry leaves - 5
  6. Coriander leaves - 10
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Hot green chili - 1

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry fry oats and dry grind it to a fine powder. Dry fry mung dal, black pepper and dry grind to fine powder.
  2. Cut onion and green chili to a fine pieces.
  3. Add  water to powdered ingredient to a batter consistency little loose than for dosai.
  4. Add onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chili, salt to the batter and mix well. Keep this mixture for 1 aside before you make the dosai.
  5. Heat the flat iron skillet or non-stick tawa pan with coat of oil.
  6. Pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thick round.
  7. Once this side is cooked, flip over and cook until the dosai is cooked on the other side. Remove and serve
