INGREDIENTS:
- Crab - 1 kilo gram
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
- Onion - 100 grams
- Tomatoes - 200 grams
- Hot dry chili - 4
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Black pepper - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
- Coriander seed - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
- Shredded coconut - 4 teaspoon (tsp)
- Cashew (optional) - 4
- Hot green chili - 4
- Salt - to taste
- Curry leaves (optional) - 10
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
PREPARATION:
- Clean the crab well. Cut onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves into small pieces.
- Grind to paste black pepper, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, shredded coconut, cashews. Add little water as needed.
- Heat oil in a pan. add hot dry chili, curry leaves and cook until the curry leaves splatter.
- Now add the onion and cook until it turns golden brown. Now add tomatoes and cook until oil separates.
- Now add ginger, garlic paste, garam masala and cook in low heat until the raw smell goes away.
- Now raise the heat add the crab and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add the ground paste, salt to taste and cook until the raw smell goes away ( usually for 15-20 minutes)
- Remove from heat when the right thinness is reached and serve.
