INGREDIENTS:

  1. Crab - 1 kilo gram
  2. Oil - 1/4 cup
  3. Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  4. Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  5. Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  6. Onion - 100 grams
  7. Tomatoes - 200 grams
  8. Hot dry chili - 4
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  10. Black pepper - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
  11. Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  12. Coriander seed - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
  13. Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  14. Shredded coconut - 4 teaspoon (tsp)
  15. Cashew (optional) - 4
  16. Hot green chili - 4
  17. Salt - to taste
  18. Curry leaves (optional) - 10
  19. Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup

PREPARATION:

  1. Clean the crab well. Cut onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves into small pieces.
  2. Grind to paste black pepper, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, shredded coconut, cashews. Add little water as needed.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. add hot dry chili, curry leaves and cook until the curry leaves splatter.
  4. Now add the onion and cook until it turns golden brown. Now add tomatoes and cook until oil separates.
  5. Now add ginger, garlic paste, garam masala and cook in low heat until the raw smell goes away.
  6. Now raise the heat add the crab and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add the ground paste, salt to taste and cook until the raw smell goes away ( usually for 15-20 minutes)
  7. Remove from heat when the right thinness is reached and serve.
