INGREDIENTS:
- Crab - 2 (cut into pieces)
- Finely chopped onion - 1 big
- Finely chopped tomato - 3
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Chili powder - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Finely chopped Curry leaf - 1 sprig
- Coriander leaf - handful
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- In a deep bowl add 2 cups of water. Bring the water to boil. add salt, turmeric powder. now add the crabs and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the crab from the boiling water and keep it aside (remove excess water). NOTE: you can use the boiled water for soup.
- In a pan head oil. add onion and sauté until they become translucent.
- Now add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Now add tomatoes, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, few spoons of water if its dry and sauté until oil separates.
- Now add the cooked crab pieces, chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves. Toss and cook for about 5 minutes until the crab pieces are well coated with masala and serve.
