INGREDIENTS:

  1. Pottu kadalai (roasted gram) - 25 grams or 1/4 cup
  2. Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
  3. Hot dry chili - 1
  4. Black pepper - 4
  5. Garlic - 1 clove
  6. Curry leaves (optional) - 3
  7. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. In a blender (mixi) add water as needed and grind all the ingredients into a fine paste to thick consistency and serve.
