INGREDIENTS:

  1. Rice flour - 3 cup
  2. Maida flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Egg - 2
  4. Sugar - 1 1/4 cup
  5. Ghee - 75 grams
  6. Thick fresh coconut milk - 1/4 cup
  7. Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Oil - for deep fry
  9. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Dissolve salt, sugar in egg. Grind the fennel seeds into a coarse powder.
  2. In a bowl add rice flour, maida flour, egg mixture, melted ghee, coconut milk as needed into a dough.
  3. Flatten the dough into 1/4 inch sheet. Cut them in shapes and sizes you like to with cookie cutter.
  4. Deep fry them in oil in to golden brown and serve. NOTE: deep fry them in batches for good result
