INGREDIENTS:
- Mutton pieces - 1/4 kilogram.
- Chopped onion - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Fresh Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
- Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cumin seed powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 75 milliliter or 0.3 cup
- Salt - as needed

- Cinnamon stick - 2 count
- Bay leaf - 2 counts
- Cardamom pod - 2 count
- Clove - 2 count
PREPARATION:
- In a pressure cooker heat oil. Now add all the ingredients under the section "-- For Tempering --" and sauté them until aroma is released.
- Now add the chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
- Now add water as needed and pressure cook for 7 to 8 whistle. Once pressure is released add garam masala powder, cumin seed powder, chili powder, tomato puree, salt NOTE: add little water as needed as mutton will release water as well.
- Now cook the rogan josh and bring to boil. Once the raw smell is gone. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
NOTES:
- you can also use ghee instead of oil
