- Rice flour - 1 padi (2 cup)
- Roasted gram flour - ¼ padi (1/2 cup)
- White sesame seed - 2 tablespoon (tsp.)
- Asafoetida powder - ¼ teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dalda - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Oil - for deep fry (1 cup)
- Boil 1 padi of water (2 cups) and keep it aside.
- In a bowl add rice flour, roasted gram, white sesame seeds, asafoetida powder, salt, dalda, boiled water and make soft murukku dough.
- Heat oil in a deep pan. Make murukku with murukku press (refer below) and deep fry them.
