Soak rice in water for 4 hours. (add water until rice submerge and soak). Once the rice is soaked, drain the water and grind along with coconut in a wet grinder into a thick fine dough. NOTE: rice and coconut should be ground really nice.
Finely powder the roasted gram and silt them.
To the rice batter add roasted gram powder, sesame seeds, salt as needed and make as soft dough. NOTE: add coconut milk if you need to make soft dough.
Heat oil in a deep pan. Make murukku with murukku press (refer below) and deep fry them.
