INGREDIENTS:

  1. Fatty fish pieces (Mackerel or king Mackerel or Salmon or ...) - 7 or 8 thin pieces
  2. Chicken 65 powder or Fish fry masala powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Chili powder (if needed) - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Tamarind juice - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add Chicken 65 powder or Fish fry masala powder, chili powder, Garlic paste, salt. Now add tamarind water as needed and mix to a thick paste.
  2. Now add the fish pieces and mix well until the masala is coated well. Keep this marinated for an hour.
  3. Now fry the fish pieces to golden brown and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with rasam or curd rice.
