INGREDIENTS:

  1. Fish (Seer Fish or Malabar trevally or Asian Sea bass ) - 1/4 kilogram or 4 pieces
  2. Chili powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Fennel seed powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Dry ginger powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Gram flour - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Roasted gram flour - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Corn flour - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Salt - as needed
  12. Oil - for frying.

PREPARATION:

  1. Mix all the ingredients expect fish into a thick paste. NOTE: add as little water as possible if you really need to.
  2. Apply thick paste to fish so that the fish is well coated. Marinate masala coated fish for an hour.
  3. After marinating for an hour. Pan or deep fry them to golden brown and serve.
