INGREDIENTS:
- Chopped bullet green chili pepper or green Jalapeno - 10
- Chopped garlic - 10
- Chopped shallot (sambar onion) - 8
- Tamarind - a gooseberry size
- Oil - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- In a pan heat oil add garlic, shallot and sauté for a minute.
- Now add tamarind, salt and sauté for 30 seconds or so.
- Now add the green chili pepper and sauté for 3 minutes or until its sautéed. Cool this down and grind into fine paste and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with dosai and idli.
