INGREDIENTS:

  1. Wheat flour - 1 Cup
  2. Vendhaya Keerai (Fenugreek Leaf) - 1/2 cup
  3. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Omam (caraway) seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Curd (yogurt) - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add wheat flour, chili powder, turmeric power, omam (caraway) seeds, curd (yogurt), oil, salt and mix well. Now add the Vendhaya Keerai (Fenugreek Leaves) and mix well. Now Add water as needed and make soft chapathi dough.
  2. Make chapathi with dough and serve.

  6. Make small balls out to the dough. Flatten it to a round sheet.
  7. Heat a skillet can coat with oil. Cook the round sheet both side to golden brown and serve.
