INGREDIENTS:
- Maida or wheat flour - 2 cup
- Backing powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Unsalted butter (softened) - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup or as needed
- Egg -2
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
- Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit or 170 Celsius.
- Line muffin cups with papers.
- Cream butter and sugar until they are light and fluffy.
- Now beat in eggs one at a time.
- Now add flour alternation with milk and beat well.
- Now add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Divide evenly among pans (fill only 2/3) and bake for 18 minutes. let cool in pans and then serve.
