INGREDIENTS:

  1. Carrot - 100 grams
  2. Ripe tomatoes - 500 grams
  3. Unsalted butter - 50 grams
  4. Thick milk - 1/2 cup or heavy cream 1/4 cup
  5. Onion - 300 grams
  6. Maida flour or all purpose flour - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
  7. Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp) or as required
  8. Cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch
  9. Ginger - 1 inch
  10. Salt - for taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil carrot, tomatoes, onions until they are well done.
  2. In a blender (mixi) grind the boiled ingredients (carrot, tomatoes, onions), black pepper, ginger into a fine paste.
  3. In a pan melt the butter add the cinnamon stick, add the maida flour mix and cook well until its dissolved well.
  4. Now add the milk or heavy cream and bring to boil.
  5. Now add the ground ingredients ( filtered or unfiltered as to you preference) and bring to boil.
  6. Once the right thickness of the soup is reached serve hot.
