INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chopped scallion - from 1 bunch
  2. Green gram - 1/4 cup
  3. Slit Green chili - 2
  4. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  5. Salt - as needed
  6. ---------------------------------
  7. ----- For Tempering -----
  8. ----------------------------------
  9. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Curry leaf - 5 count
  11. Oil - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak the green gram in water until soaked. Now boil them by adding salt, turmeric powder. Drain the liquid and keep them aside. NOTE: don't cook green gram to mash.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Add chopped scallion,salt and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until they are sautéed.
  3. Now add the boiled green gram, green chili and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes and serve.
