INGREDIENTS:

  1. Drumstick leaves - 1 bunch
  2. Finely chopped onion - 1
  3. Dry chili - 1
  4. Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Black gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. -- To be crushed --
    1. De-skinned roasted ground nut - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
    2. Garlic - 3 cloves
    3. Green chili - 1
  7. Oil - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  8. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Crush the ingredients coarsely under the section "To be crushed".
  2. Remove the drumstick leaves from the stem.
  3. Heat oil in pan. Now add dry chili, black gram, cumin seeds once the cumin stop splattering add onion and sauté until it turns translucent (golden brown).
  4. Now add the drumstick leaves and sauté for 1 minutes. Now add 1/2 cup of water, salt as needed and cook the leaves.
  5. Once the water evaporated add crushed ingredients. Mix well and serve hot.

NOTES:

  1. You can substitute coconut instead of ground peanuts.
