INGREDIENTS:

  1. Whole milk - 1 liter
  2. Fatten rice - 1/4 cup
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Cashew - 7
  6. Raisin - 8
  7. Ghee - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak flatten rice for 10 minutes. Drain all the liquid from soaked flatten rice. Now roast the soaked flatten rice in melted ghee to golden brown and keep it aside.
  2. Bring milk to boil, add roasted flattened rice. Then simmer and reduce the milk to 1/2 liter.
  3. Now add the sugar, cardamom powder, cashew, raisins and cook until raisins plump up. Remove from heat once the right thickness of your choice is reached and serve.
