Stuffed chicken parotta recipe

Parotta is a favorite dish with young and old. Stuffing with chicken makes it tastier and more healthier. Let see how to make it.

  1. Whole wheat flour - 3/4 cup
  2. Maida flour - 1/4 cup
  3. Oil - as needed
  4. Salt - as needed
  5. ----------------------------------
  6. -- For making chicken stuffing ---
  7. ----------------------------------
  8. Ground chicken - 500 grams or as needed
  9. Finely chopped onion - 1
  10. Chopped tomato - 1
  11. Egg - 1
  12. Curry leaf - little
  13. Chopped coriander leaf - little
  14. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  15. Turmeric powder - little
  16. Garam masala powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  17. Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  18. Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  19. Salt - as needed


  1. Mix wheat flour, Maida flour, salt, water as needed and make a soft dough as you will do for parotta.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Now add onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté until raw smell is gone.
  4. Now add tomato and sauté until they become mushy.
  5. Now add chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
  6. Now add the ground chicken, salt  and sauté until the chicken is cooked well. NOTE: try not to add water if required sprinkle some water.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked well and oil separates. Now break an egg and cook until the egg is cooked well with no liquid. (egg will become like pop corn)
  8. Now make balls out of dough and flatten to round thin sheet. Now place little cooked chicken in the middle of the dough sheet fold from all side such that it covers the chicken. Now make a flat sheet with the stuffed down as you down for parotta.
  9. Heat a flat iron skillet and coat with oil. Once the oil is heated place the parotta and cook on both sides and serve.


  1. Goes well with kurma.
