Soak wheat submerged in water for at least 8 hours.
Grind the soak wheat by adding water. drain the water (milk).
Now grind the drained ground wheat with water and filter the water (milk)..

Keep the milk for at least 4 hours. After 4 hours add sugar, saffron, a pinch of salt and mix well.

In a heavy pan or iron skillet add the wheat milk. Heat this and cook by stirring continuously without burning until become very think and start to sticking to pan.
Add little ghee time to time and stir continue cooking.
Once the ghee start to separate add milk made (if you like), crushed cardamom, roasted cardamom. Stir and continue cooking until all the ghee separated about 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes of cooking drain the ghee from the halwa.
