INGREDIENTS:
- Carrot - 1/4 kilogram
- Ghee - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Shredded Jaggery - 150 gram
- Cashew nut - as needed
- Raisins - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Remove the skin from the carrot and cook them by steaming. once cooked grind the cooked carrot to a paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan. add carrot paste and mix well. Cook this until halwa consistency is reached. i.e. ghee separated . Remove from heat. NOTE: if you feel like its getting burn add more ghee.
- In a pan melt ghee and roast the cashew and raisins. Add to cooked carrot mix well and serve.
