INGREDIENTS:
- -- For making ginger powder --
- Dry ginger - 50 grams
- Coriander seeds - 100 grams
- Clove - 10
- -- For making the Kashayam --
- Ginger powder (make from above) - 4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Water - 1/2 liter
- Powdered jaggery - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Dry roast dry ginger, coriander seeds, cloves until coriander seeds change color. Cool this down and grind to a fine powder.
- Take 4 tablespoon of ground powder (in step 1) add to water. Add jaggery to water as well. Boil this water for 8 to 10 minutes. Filter the liquid (kashayam) with a strainer and serve.
NOTES:
- Kashayam is good for heath and cure for indigestion.
