INGREDIENTS:

  1. -- For making ginger powder --
    1. Dry ginger - 50 grams
    2. Coriander seeds - 100 grams
    3. Clove - 10
  2. -- For making the Kashayam --
    1. Ginger powder (make from above) - 4 teaspoon (tsp.)
    2. Water - 1/2 liter
    3. Powdered jaggery - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry roast dry ginger, coriander seeds, cloves until coriander seeds change color. Cool this down and grind to a fine powder.
  2. Take 4 tablespoon of ground powder (in step 1) add to water. Add jaggery to water as well. Boil this water for 8 to 10 minutes. Filter the liquid (kashayam) with a strainer and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Kashayam is good for heath and cure for indigestion.
