INGREDIENTS:

  1. Perl sago (javvarisi) - 2 cup
  2. Roasted peanuts - 1/4 cup
  3. Potato - 1 small
  4. Onion - 1 small
  5. Ginger - 1 inch
  6. Green chili- 3
  7. Cumin seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Curry leaf - 10
  10. Lemon - 1/2
  11. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  12. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Wash and soak pearl sago for 3 hours. Powder the roasted peanuts.
  2. Drain all the water from pearl and mix powder peanuts and keep it aside.
  3. Chop ginger, onion, green chili and potato into fine pieces.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed once its stop splattering add onion, onion, ginger and cook until onion turns golden brown.
  5. Now add the potato, salt to taste and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Now add the Perl sago and sauté for 5 - 7 minutes.
  7. Now squeeze the lemon juice, sauté for couple of minutes and serve.
