INGREDIENTS:

  1. Idli - 8
  2. Green chili - 6
  3. Garlic - 10 cloves
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. -- For Tempering--
    1. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
    2. Finely chopped Onion - 1
    3. Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
    4. Broken black gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
    5. Curry leaf - 5
    6. Dry chili - 2

PREPARATION:

  1. Break idli into fine pieces like rava.
  2. Grind green chili, garlic, salt to tasteĀ  into a fine paste by adding little water as possible. Add the paste to the Idli and mix well.
  3. In a pan heat oil, add mustard seed, black gram, curry leaves, broken dry chili.
  4. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering add onion and cook until onion turns golden brown.
  5. Now add the Idli, simmer and cook until the idli become hot and serve.
