INGREDIENTS:

  1. Maida flour - 1 cup
  2. Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Chili powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Asafoetida powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Cooking soda - pinch
  6. Sesame seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Finely chopped Curry leaf - 5 to 10 count
  8. Soaked splt bengal gram - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  9. Oil - to fry.
  10. Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add maida flour, rice flour, cooking soda, salt, asafoetida powder, chili powder, soaked bengal gram, water as needed and knead to a soft dough.
  2. Now add 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) oil to the dough and knead well.
  3. Now add chopped curry leaves to the dough and knead well.
  4. Now add the sesame seeds to the dough and knead well.
  5. Keep the kneaded dough aside for 30 minutes.
  6. Make small balls out of the dough and flatten the very thin to round sheet.
  7. Heat oil in pan. Now add (one or more) sheet and cook them both side to golden brown and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Servings: 4, Cooking time: 30 min
