INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ragi (finger millet) flour - 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  3. Rava - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Oil - to deep fry
  5. Salt - as needed.

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add Ragi (finger millet) flour, Wheat flour, Rava, salt and mix well. Now add water as needed and make a soft dough.
  2. Now make small balls out of the dough. Flatten these balls to round sheet with help of roller pin.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Now deep fried the raw puri to golden brown and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Since we added ragi flour we need more water than usual. if you don't make a soft dough the dough will start showing cracks. i.e. make soft chapati dough consistency.
