  1. Whole milk - 1 liter
  2. Lemon - 1/2


  1. Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan until the water almost evaporated. i.e. very thick milk. NOTE: stir time to time to avoid burn in the bottom of the pan.
  2. Now bring the heat to simmer and squeeze the lemon juice without seeds This will form curd in the milk.
  3. Now filter the curded milk in a very thin cloth. Now tie the cloth tight so it squeezes all the liquid.
  4. Place the cheese over a pan with holes. Now place a heavy weight on the cheese. After 10 hours remove it and keep it in freezer. NOTE: Make sure all the liquid is gone.
  5. Use this to make many dishes.


  1. Serving size: 5 person, Cooking Time: 25 minutes
  2. Use for cooking soon as it will go bad. May be couple of days in freezer.
