INGREDIENTS:

  1. Snake gourd - 1
  2. Split black gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Bengal gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Dry chili - 1
  5. Salt - 1 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed.
  6. Sugar (optional) - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Fresh shredded coconut - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  8. Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.0

PREPARATION:

  1. Clean, cut into pieces and wash the snake gourd. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. In a pan heat oil. add dry chili, split black gram, bengal gram and sauté for about a minutes or until sauteed.
  3. Now add the snake gourd prices and mix well. Sprinkle 2 tablespoon of water if need. Cover with lid and cook this for about 10 minute or until cooked by stirring time to time.
  4. Now add salt, coconut, salt. Mix well and cook this for 2 minutes until they all come together then serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with sambar rice.
