In a pan heat oil. add ingredients under the section "-- Roasted in oil and grounded to powder --" and roast them without burning it. Cool this to room temperature and grind to a powder along with tamarind.
In the same pan add 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.). add onion, garlic and sauté until the onion turns translucent (golden brown).
Now add the chopped green beans and sauté for 5 minutes.
Now add the roasted ground powder, turmeric powder and sauté for 1 minutes.
Now add water until the green bean is submerged (don't add too much water), add salt and cook for 5 minutes. Once the green beans are cooked and all the water is gone.
Now add fresh shredded coconut, mix well and cook for 2 minutes and serve.
