INGREDIENTS:

  1. Idli - 10 (cut into cubes)
  2. Oil - as needed
  3. -------------------------
  4. -- For making podi ----
  5. ------------------------
  6. Black gram - 1 cup
  7. Split Bengal gram - 1 cup
  8. Black sesame seed - 1 cup
  9. Dry chili - 15
  10. Asafoetida powder - as needed.
  11. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry roast ingredients black gram, Bengal gram, sesame seeds, dry chili, Asafoetida powder and grind them to a powder (podi).
  2. In a pan head oil. Add idli pieces, podi as needed and sauté until the idli is coated well and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Podi is for more serving.
