INGREDIENTS:

  1. Samai millet (little millet) - 500 grams
  2. Warm water - as needed
  3. Salt - as required

PREPARATION:

  1. Slightly dry roast samai millet and grind to a fine powder. NOTE: Sift flour again and again so you can separate the big pieces and grind them to powder.
  2. Now roast the sift flour in low heat to remove excess moisture.
  3. Mix the samaiĀ  flour, salt and water to smooth dough.
  4. Now make the Iddiyappam with murukku press. Steam them in idly pan. Or steam them by covering a pot of water with cloth.

NOTES:

  1. You can make this recipe with samai ready made flour as well. if you use ready made flour follow instruction from step 2.
