INGREDIENTS:

  1. Mulangi (radish) - 3 medium size
  2. Onion - 1
  3. Egg - 2
  4. Hot green chili - 2
  5. pepper powder - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  6. Mustard seed - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  7. Cumin seed - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  8. Uluttam paruppu (split black gram) - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  9. Kadalai paruppu (split bengal gram) - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  10. Curry leaves (optional) - 4
  11. Coriander leaves - 10
  12. Oil - 1/4 cup
  13. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut the onion and green chili into fine pieces.
  2. Cut or shred the radish into fine pieces.
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl add salt and pepper and beat them well.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seed, cumin seed, Uluttam paruppu (split black gram), Kadalai paruppu (split bengal gram), curry leaves. when the mustard stop splattering.
  5. Add the onion and green chili and cook for 3 min.
  6. Now add the shredded radish and cook until most of the moisture is gone. (oil separates )
  7. Now add the beaten egg. Until the moisture is gone and becomes like pop corn and serve.
