INGREDIENTS:

  1. Maida flour - 1/4 kilogram
  2. Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Dalda - 100 grams
  4. Sugar - 1/4 kilogram
  5. Oil - for frying

PREPARATION:

  1. Mix Maida flour, baking soda and dalda together. Add water little by little and knead until it resembles chapatti soft dough.
  2. Make soft syrup (single thread consistency) by boiling sugar with half a cup of water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Shape dough into small balls, flatten and fry them in batches to a golden brown in low flame.
  4. Once all the badushas is cooked place them on a plate, pour sugar syrup over them and let them cool and then serve.

NOTES:

  1. Check for single string consistency single sting
