INGREDIENTS:

  1. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  2. Lemon - 2
  3. Hot green chili - 6
  4. Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  5. Black gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  6. Pea nuts (optional) - 1/4 cup
  7. Asafoetida - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  9. Coriander leaves - 10
  10. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
  11. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Get juice from the lemon, cut the green chili into fine pieces. In a pan heat the oil add mustard seed and wait until splatter.
  2. Now add the black gram, pea nuts and cook for 1-2 min.  Now add the hot green chili, asafoetida, turmeric powder and cook for 1 min. Add the lemon juice and salt and cook until oil separates.
  3. Now add the rice, coriander leaves and mix well and serve.
