Spicy cauliflower recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chopped Cauliflower - 1
  2. Finely chopped Onion - 1
  3. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Coriander leaf - for garnish
  5. Oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Salt - as needed
  7. -----------------------------------------
  8. -- For Ground to Paste ---
  9. -----------------------------------------
  10. Black pepper - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Ginger - small piece
  13. Garlic - 3 clove
  14. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  15. Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind ingredients under the section "-- For Ground to Paste ---" into a thick fine paste by adding water as needed.
  2. In a pan heat oil; add mustard seeds and once they stop splattering add the chopped onion and sauté until they become translucent (golden brown)
  3. Now add the chopped cauliflower and sauté for 2 to 3 minute.
  4. Now add the ground paste. Cove with lid and cook until the cauliflower is cooked. NOTE: Time to time stir to avoid burning.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaf. Mix well and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Cooking time: 20 to 25 minutes.
