INGREDIENTS:

  1. Shredded beetroot - 2
  2. Shredded carrot - 2
  3. Potato - 2 small (cut into 4 pieces or 1 inch cube)
  4. Green peas - 1/4 cup
  5. Wheat flour - as needed or 3 cup.
  6. Green chili paste - from 6 chili
  7. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. In pressure cooker cook beetroot, carrot, potato, green peas, 1 cup of water and cook for 3 whistle. Wait until pressure is released and cool cooked ingredients.
  2. In a pan add 3 cups of wheat flour, add the cooked ingredients, green chili paste, salt to taste and make chapati dough.
  3. Now make small 2 inch balls and flatten them. NOTE: You cannot fatten this like chapati. You need to flatten it with your hand on a well oiled surface. (plastic sheet ..)
  4. -- Cooking chapati--
    1. Heat a skillet add oil as needed. And make sure it covers all the surface.
    2. Now cook the flatten dough until it is cooked both side and serve. NOTE: You have to flip to other side when one side is cooked.
