INGREDIENTS:

  1. Rice flour - 1 padi (2 cup)
  2. Roasted gram flour - ¼ padi (1/2 cup)
  3. White sesame seed - 2 tablespoon (tsp.)
  4. Asafoetida powder - ¼ teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Salt - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Dalda - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  7. Oil - for deep fry (1 cup)

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil 1 padi of water (2 cups)  and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl add rice flour, roasted gram, white sesame seeds, asafoetida powder, salt, dalda, boiled water and make soft murukku dough.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Make murukku with murukku press (refer below) and deep fry them.
