INGREDIENTS:

  1. Beetroot - 1
  2. Coconut - 1/2
  3. Roasted gram - 100 grams
  4. Poppy seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Green chili - 4
  6. Onion - 1
  7. Ginger - 1 inch
  8. Fennel seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Oil - for frying
  10. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Shred the beetroot.
  2. Powder the roasted gram.
  3. Shred the coconut.
  4. Grind coconut, poppy seeds, green chili, onion, ginger fennel seeds into a fine thick paste by adding little water as possible.
  5. Mix beetroot, coconut paste, roasted gram, salt to taste into a soft dough.
  6. Make thick cutlet to your preferred shape and size.
  7. Heat oil in a skillet; pan fry them to golden brown and serve.
