INGREDIENTS:

  1. Cauliflower pieces - from 1 Cauliflower
  2. Oil - to deep fry.
  3. --------------------------
  4. -- To make batter --
  5. --------------------------
  6. Bengal gram - 1 cup
  7. Rava - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Carom (omam) seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Hot oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Water - as needed
  13. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil and cook the Cauliflower pieces in water for 5 minutes. Drain all the water and keep it aside.
  2. Make a soft dough you do like for Chapati with the ingredients under the section "-- To make batter --". Now add the Cauliflower pieces, little water and mix well until the cauliflower pieces are well coated.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the Cauliflower pieces to golden brown and serve.
