INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chicken - 500 grams with bones
  2. Black pepper - 10
  3. Onion - 1
  4. Dry ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Butter - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Clean and cut the chicken into small pieces.
  2. Chop onion into fine pieces.
  3. Grind black pepper coarsely.
  4. Add little water and make a thick paste with turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder and dry ginger powder.
  5. Cook chicken with 5 cups of water.
  6. Now add the ground paste, salt to taste and boil for few minutes (until the raw smell goes away)
  7. In a pan melt the butter, add onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
  8. Now add this to the soup (boiling chicken) cook for couple of minutes and serve.
