INGREDIENTS:

  1. Stingray (Thirukkai ) fish - 1/4 kilogram
  2. Garlic - 10 cloves
  3. Shallots - 10
  4. Turmeric powder - 3/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  5. Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  6. Shredded coconut - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Oil - to fry

PREPARATION:

  1. Clean and cut the fish in 1 inch cubes.
  2. In blender grind coconut, garlic, shallots, fennel seeds, turmeric powder, salt into to fine paste. (add less water)
  3. Now mix the fish and the paste and marinate the fish for 1 hour.
  4. In a pan head oil and fry the fish until its done.
