INGREDIENTS:

  1. Samai (little millet) - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Hot water - as needed
  3. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry roast the samai (little millet) lightly in low heat. Grind this to a flour. Now sift the flour through a fine mesh and grind the bigger ones until all are sifted.
  2. Now dry roast ground flour in a low heat until well roasted.
  3. Now add salt, hot water as needed and make a smooth dough.
  4. Now make the Iddiyappam with murukku press. Steam them in idly pan. Or steam them by covering a pot of water with cloth
