INGREDIENTS:

  1. Par boiled rice - 1 cup
  2. Raw rice - 1 cup
  3. Curry leaves - 20 sprig
  4. Dry chili - 8
  5. Cumin seed - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  6. Rock salt - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak par boiled rice, raw rice in water until the submerge for at least 2 hours until they are soaked well. Drain liquid and keep it aside.
  2. In a wet grinder add soaked rice, dry chili, cumin seeds, curry leaves, salt and grind this to a fine dosaia batter by adding water as needed. Add 1/2 cup of water and beat well.
  3. Now make dosai and serve hot.

  7. Heat a flat skillet. Coat with oil;
  8. Now pour a ladle of batter and spread thin well to form a round thin sheet. Sprinkle oil around the dosai.
  9. Once the bottom side is cooked flip and cook to golden brown and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with garlic chutney or garlic podi.
