Sweet coconut milk paniyaram recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Raw rice - 1/2 cup
  2. Black gram - 1/2 cup
  3. Coconut - 1
  4. Milk - 1 tumbler or 1 cup
  5. Cardamom powder - little
  6. Cooking soda - a pinch
  7. Sugar - 1/4 cup
  8. Oil - to deep fry.

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak rice, black gram in water until they are soaked well (about an hour). Now grind this to a thick dough by adding little water as possible to vadai dough consistency.
  2. Don't add too much water and get thick coconut milk from the coconut. i.e. grind or shred the coconut add water as needed and get the thick milk.
  3. Now to the coconut milk add milk, cardamom powder, sugar to your taste.
  4. To the dough a pinch of cooking soda and mix well. Make small balls from the dough and deep fry them in oil to golden brown and keep it aside.
  5. In bowl add fried paniyaram, coconut milk mixture as needed and serve.
